Dallas, TX (August, 2016) — Metropolitan Anesthesia Consultants, based in Dallas, Texas, announced today that Andrea “Andee” Cameron has been named as the new Chief Operating Officer for the practice. The company is comprised of more than 85 physicians, providing excellence in anesthesia care at many hospitals and surgery centers throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
Ms. Cameron has over 23 years in private and hospital based environments, working internationally and throughout the United States. She started as the Administrator of Patient Financial Services at in Honolulu, HI and worked her way up as the Vice President of International Operations in Jackson, MI. In between, she has worked as the Operations Director in Portland, OR; Director of Practice Management and Revenue Cycle in Township, New Jersey, and most recently, the Process Improvement Director in Raleigh, NC.
Ms. Cameron received her degree at Moody Bible Institute, with additional training at Duke University with a certification in Building Dynamic Teams; Franklin Covey with certifications in Seven Habits and Personal Coaching; the Joint Commission Ambulatory and CMS/OIG compliance training; and PMI Project Manager Certified prepared.
Ms. Cameron is an exceptional executive practice manager who maintains outstanding results in practice development while building solid physician relationships. She incorporates an entrepreneurial style with open direct communication to promote a collaborative environment. As a project manager, she has successfully completed multiple multi-million dollar initiatives, always rising to the challenge of the next new assignment.
