Kids 12 and under free. All others: $10. Online Tickets: February 1– March 25
Dallas Heritage Village and the Art Deco Society of Dallas present the 4th Annual Jazz Age Sunday Social. The premiere vintage-inspired event in north Texas, the JASS will feature an afternoon of dancing, traditional jazz (two live bands, The Singapore Slingers and Dave Washburn's Three Quarters Fast Jazz Band), vintage vendors, food, ice cream, photo booth, best dressed contest, antique cars, and more. Make plans to join us! Admission is just $10. Tickets will be available at the gate, and advance tickets sales will be online soon.
Elaine Hewlett from The Rhythm Room will be teaching some great 1920s dance steps, so guests can cut a rug to Matt Tolentino's Singapore Slingers and the Three Quarters Fast Jazz Band - two local favorites. Picnic lunches are highly encouraged and the Easy Slider Truck will be on hand serving up their great, award-winning hamburgers and food. Vintage vendors including Old Fashioned Sweet Shop, Ahoy! Cruises, and Savannah Hoffman Designs will be on hand, and more. Amelia Fox Trot will return with her antique gramophones, playing original 78 rpm records! Don't forget the antique cars - they make great photo ops. And speaking of photo ops, be sure to take advantage of our photo booth, and enter the best dressed contest for your chance to win something swell. Spend the afternoon enjoying the music and culture of the 1920s. We'll see you there!
