Join us for this year’s Lone Star History Day as we examine the history of medicine. How did we take care of our minds and bodies before modern day innovations? We will make use of many of the buildings on our grounds, including the Doctor's Office, Dentist Office, School, Farmstead, General Store, and possibly work with our animals too! Activities include making Victorian Sachets to keep bad smells away, practice taking care of your teeth, checking your eyesight, planting herbs to be used for medicine, observing the medicines that were available in the Victorian era, and more! Activities are subject to change.
(Homeschool Day) - Friday, Oct. 5, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; discount tickets online through Tuesday, Oct. 2: $6/visitor; Gate: $10 Adults, $8 Seniors, $6 Kids
