Today, people will gather in West Village to celebrate the opening night of the 13th annual Dallas International Film Festival powered by Capital One. The festival will run from April 11 to April 18 with screenings at The Magnolia and Studio Movie Grill Royal Lane. Dallas Film is pleased to share a few new announcements as festivalgoers eagerly prepare their schedules in anticipation of an amazing festival experience. These updates include a new film added to the mix, live musical entertainment and an overview of the grand prize.
“To start, we are excited to share that Joe Berlinger, director of the Ted Bundy movie ‘Shockingly Wicked, Extremely Evil and Vile,’ will do a Q&A following the screening of the film on opening night,” said James Faust, artistic director of Dallas Film. “We are also thrilled to announce that we have added the film ‘One Child Nation’ to the mix of films that will be screened during this year’s festival.
