Dallas Architecture Forum, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing public education about architecture, design and the urban environment, is pleased to present Spanish architect Jose Selgas, Co-Founder of Selgas + Cano.  He will speak on Thursday, January 30^th at 7 p.m. at the Magnolia Theatre, West Village, 3699 McKinney Avenue, Dallas.

The size of Selgas + Cano’s small architectural studio is far from proportional to the visibility and recognition of their practice.  Dedicated to incorporating all issues and scales of a project into an integrated whole, the firm has produced widely published and exhibited work – at MoMA, Guggenheim New York, the Venice Biennale, and the Design Museum of London.  Among their major projects are the Convention Centers of Badajoz, Cartagena, and Plascencia in Spain.

The lecture will be at 7 p.m. at the Magnolia Theatre, West Village, with a complimentary reception for lecture attendees beginning at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $20 per lecture for general admission and $5 for students (with ID). Tickets can be purchased at the door before the lecture. No reservations are needed to attend Forum lectures. Dallas Architecture Forum members receive free admission to all regular Forum lectures as a benefit of membership, and AIA members can earn one hour of CE credit for each lecture.
