DESCRIPTION:Dallas 24 Hour Club – is a nonprofit organization that provides
  transitional living\, support services\, and essential life skills for ho
 meless alcoholics and addicts so they can embrace long-term sobriety and b
 ecome contributing and self-supporting members of the community – will hos
 t its monthly Steak Night on Saturday\, September 2\, 2023. Steak Night\,
  held on the first Saturday of each month\, is a great opportunity for fel
 lowship with Residents of The 24 and local community members. \nOn Septemb
 er 2 nd \, professional singer\, songwriter\, and multi-instrumentalist ar
 tist Rachel Stacy and her all-female\, sober band\, will perform for Resid
 ents and guests. We will also be kicking off North Texas Giving Day fundra
 ising efforts at the September Steak Night! Thanks to a generous donation
  from Roofix Roofing\, all donations made on September 2 will be matched u
 p to $500.     \nFounded in 1969\, Dallas 24 Hour Club provides transition
 al living\, support services and essential life skills for homeless alcoho
 lics and addicts\, so they can embrace long-term sobriety and become contr
 ibuting and self-supporting members of the community. The main facility on
  Ross Avenue offers a six-month program for men and women to help them emb
 race recovery\, find employment\, reconnect with family members\, and lear
 n to live independently. Tillman House\, Dallas 24 Hour Club’s program for
  Successful Graduates\, is a yearlong program that helps Residents transit
 ion into living independently. Throughout their stay\, Residents can recei
 ve scholarships to further their education through Texas Tech University o
 r Dallas College’s WorkReadyU program. More than 35 12-Step Meetings are h
 osted weekly at Dallas 24 Hour Club on Ross Avenue. The public is welcome
  and encouraged to attend Recovery Meetings and to provide fellowship and
  support to the Residents. The Hubcap Café\, located inside Dallas 24 Hour
  Club\, is open daily to the public from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. For more
