DESCRIPTION:The Selby House\, a modern design studio located in the Dallas
  Design District\, will host a two-day Artist Market and shopping event Ju
 ne 9-10\, 2023. The studio will be open to the public to shop vintage furn
 iture from The Selby House\, watercolor and acrylic artwork by Brie Milam\
 , floral arrangements by Dossier\, and unique ceramic goods by Nicole Bern
 ard of  NB Makes. \n “There are so many talented artists and creators in D
 allas\, and we are excited to open our studio for shopping and community\,
  showcasing fabulous art\, ceramics\, floral designs\, home furnishings an
 d de´cor. It is an opportunity to support and meet local artists behind th
 e work and learn about their techniques and inspiration\,” said Cat Caroth
 ers\, founder of The Selby House. \n Dallas-based watercolor and acrylic a
 rtist Brie Milam will feature her expressive and illustrative pieces that
  draw inspiration from nature\, architecture\, and her inner world of thou
 ghts and emotions. Brie’s work is often centered around mindfulness\, empo
 werment\, and mental health\, mainly because these subjects were important
  in her journey to becoming an artist. Her most recent works have focused
  on landscapes and cityscapes from real and imagined places. \n Dossier St
 udio\, founded by J’Mia Oliver\, specializes in boutique floral styling an
 d event design for intimate gatherings and weddings. The design approach t
 o floral styling is inspired by both nature and art\, resulting in unique
  creations for each client. On Saturday\, June 10\, there will be a collec
 tion of curated blooms available for purchase. In honor of this event\, Do
 ssier studio will also offer a special where guests will receive a persona
 l floral arrangement with the purchase of a pot that holds water. \n Found
 er and chief maker Nicole Bernard of Dallas-based NB Makes will showcase h
 er handmade ceramic jewelry\, colored-porcelain pieces\, and tableware. Ni
 cole’s goal is to help \n \n \n \n \n people believe that a good life is w
 orth making\, either through her personal ceramic practice or by elevating
  the inspiring stories of her fellow makers\, doers\, and dreamers. \n The
  Artist Market will be held Friday\, June 9\, 2023 from 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p
 .m. and Saturday\, June 10\, 2023 from 11 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at The Selby Ho
