DESCRIPTION:Dallas 24 Hour Club (The 24) – a nonprofit that provides transi
 tional living\, support services\, and essential life skills for homeless
  alcoholics and addicts so they can embrace long-term sobriety and become
  contributing and self-supporting members of the community – will host its
  tenth annual Dallas All Star Chef Classic October 8\, 2023\, at the Empir
 e Room. This year’s Dallas All Star Chef Classic\, co-chaired by Kristin a
 nd James Hallam along with honorary chef chair Sharon Van Meter \,will fea
 ture Dallas’ top chefs and their delectable tastings\, while the Jordan Ka
 hn Music Company will keep toes tapping!  A ll monies raised directly bene
 fit Residents at The 24 who are recovering from alcohol and drug addiction
  and are becoming contributing and self-supporting members of the communit
 y. \n New this year\, individual tickets are available for $150 each. To p

 unded in 1969\, Dallas 24 Hour Club provides transitional living\, support
   services and essential life skills for homeless alcoholics and addicts\,
  so they can embrace long-term sobriety and become contributing and self-s
 upporting members of the community . The main facility on Ross Avenue offe
 rs a six-month program for men and women to help them embrace recovery\, f
 ind employment\, reconnect with family members\, and learn to live indepen
 dently. Tillman House\, Dallas 24 Hour Club’s program for Successful Gradu
 ates\, is a yearlong program that helps Residents transition into living i
 ndependently. Throughout their stay\, Residents can receive scholarships t
 o further their education through Texas Tech University or Dallas College’
 s WorkReadyU program. More than 35 12-Step Meetings are hosted weekly at D
 allas 24 Hour Club on Ross Avenue. The public is welcome and encouraged to
  attend Recovery Meetings and to provide fellowship and support to the Res
 idents. The Hubcap Café\, located inside Dallas 24 Hour Club\, is open dai
 ly to the public from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. For more information about D
