  6:30 pm. As The Forum celebrates its 25 th Anniversary\, the non-profit i
 s pleased to present the Panel Design Inspirations: Dallas Sculptors at th
 e Angelika Film Center | Mockingbird Station . This Panel is FREE TO THE P
 UBLIC. Complimentary drinks Reception will begin at 6:15 pm - Panel will b

  for our Design Inspirations Panel which will give attendees the rare oppo
 rtunity to learn about what inspires some of our area’s most talented desi
 gn leaders in their creative process. Moderator Wendy KONRADI will lead a
  conversation with three Dallas sculptors: Brad GOLDBERG\, Sherry OWENS an
 d Jay SHINN on what inspires them. Each Panelist will also share about the
 ir body of work. We look forward to seeing you on July 11 th  at the Angel
 ika Film Center for this chance to hear from three of Dallas’s gifted arti
 sts!  \n \n \n \n \n MODERATOR \n Wendy KONRADI \nWendy Konradi is the pri
 ncipal of Wendy Konradi Interior Design\, a studio specializing in residen
 tial interior design\, bespoke furniture\, and art procurement. Wendy has
  collaborated internationally with leaders in the fields of architecture\,
  fine art\, and interior design for over two decades\, making her equally
  fluent in traditional and contemporary design idioms. Utilizing an academ
 ic approach to design\, Konradi crafts modern\, edited interiors with hist
 orical references. She believes in the integration of art\, architecture\,
  and interior design. Through practiced cohesion and collaboration\, she c
 reates timeless\, engaging collections for her clients. She is passionate
  about architecture and has served on the Dallas Architecture Forum’s Boar
 d since 2016. Ms. Konradi’s award-winning projects have been featured in
   Architectural Digest \,  Dwell \, Dallas Modern \,  D Home \,  The Dalla
 s Morning News \,  Standard \,  Tribeza \,  Western Interiors  and Metropo
 litan Home.  \n P ANELISTS \n Brad GOLDBERG \nArtist Brad Goldberg sees hi
 s work as a fusion between sculpture\, landscape\, and the built environme
 nt. Sculptures are seen\, not as isolated objects\, but rather as spirit-c
 reating components of larger spatial experiences. The desire to work with
  the environment as a whole allows the creation of a unique non-preconceiv
 ed response to the total aspect of a place. Brad is an idea generator who
  has worked collaboratively with artists\, design professionals\, civic le
 aders\, and communities. Whether working with architects and engineers\, c
 raftsmen and contractors\, or fabricating his own work\, Brad is experienc
 ed in dealing with the realities of creating an artwork within a complex e
 nvironment. “In time\,” he states\, “with many experiences layered over on
 e another\, I am hoping my work will reflect a cultural collage more in ke
 eping with artistic truths than passing fashions.”  \n Sherry OWENS \n   F
 or over 35 years Sherry Owens has used the sinewy crepe myrtle tree to tel
 l her story – of the Texas landscape\, of death\, renewal\, beauty\, and o
 f today’s growing environmental concerns. The choice of each stick\, each
  gesture\, and each connecting point resembles the marks of drawing in the
  third dimension. Sherry Owens\, a native Texan\, lives and works in Dalla
 s\, Texas. Her work has been shown throughout Texas and the southwest\, in
 cluding The Grace Museum in Abilene\, Cris Worley Fine Arts in Dallas\, th
 e Art Museum of Southeast Texas in Beaumont\, the Martin Museum of Art in
  Waco\, and at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum in Austin\, Texas. Owe
 ns has completed several large public art projects\, including a large-sca
 le bronze through the  Love Field Modernization Program  at Love Field Air
 port in Dallas and a monumental commission for the Ben E Keith Company\, a
 lso in Dallas. Sherry has received several awards for her work\, including
  the Artist/Craftsman Award from AIA-Dallas.  \n Jay SHINN \nJay Shinn is
  a Dallas based internationally exhibited artist\, focusing the last few y
 ears on practice from his studios in New York and Berlin. Shinn’s art prac
 tice is a reflection on nature and architecture which has directed a multi
 media approach to art making. He is known for his large-scale light-based
  site-specific installations with projections and neon wall sculptures. Ho
 wever\, his current body of work is a deliberate return to painting. As a
  result\, Shinn is an artist that is just as comfortable working in 2 or 3
  dimensional forms. Shinn has created several site-specific public art com
 missions at locations including Houston's Intercontinental Airport\, Texas
  A&M University and Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. His works are in num
 erous other public and private international collections. Most recently an
  8-year survey of his work was exhibited at the Till Richter Museum in Bug
 genhagen\, Germany. Jay is represented by Barry Whistler Gallery\, Dallas
  and the Moody Gallery\, Houston.  \n The Panel is free and open to the pu
