DESCRIPTION:Dallas 24 Hour Club will host its annual Tea for Recovery Thurs
 day\, May 4\, 2023\, at The Dallas Woman’s Forum. Tea for Recovery benefit
 s Residents of the Dallas 24 Hour Club\, which provides transitional livin
 g\, support services and essential life skills for homeless alcoholics and
  addicts\, so they can embrace long-term sobriety and become contributing
  and self-supporting members of the community.   \nThis year’s Tea for Rec
 overy chairs are Dr. M Joan Terry and her daughter Rev. Tiffany Wright\, w
 ho were inspired to host the event after having a loved one complete the p
 rogram within The 24 and are combining this passion with their love for te
 a to put on this event. Dr. M. Joan Terry has an impressive educational ba
 ckground including degrees and certifications from The University of the N
 etherlands and Texas A&M University. Additionally\, Rev. Tiffany Wright re
 ceived a BA in Mass Communication from Texas State University\, as well as
  serving as Congressional Care Minister at Wilshire Baptist Church for 20
  years. She now works with The 24. \nSeating is limited to 200 guests. Ind
 ividual tickets are available for $200\, or table sponsorships are availab

 te\, click  here . \nFounded in 1969\, Dallas 24 Hour Club  provides trans
 itional living\, support   services and essential life skills for homeless
  alcoholics and addicts\, so they can   embrace long-term sobriety and bec
 ome contributing and self-supporting members of the community . The main f
 acility on Ross Avenue offers a six-month program for men and women to hel
 p them embrace recovery\, find employment\, reconnect with family members\
 , and learn to live independently. Tillman House\, Dallas 24 Hour Club’s p
 rogram for Successful Graduates\, is a yearlong program that helps Residen
 ts transition into living independently. Throughout their stay\, Residents
  can receive scholarships to further their education through Texas Tech Un
 iversity or Dallas College’s WorkReadyU program. More than 35 12-Step Meet
 ings are hosted weekly at Dallas 24 Hour Club on Ross Avenue. The public i
 s welcome and encouraged to attend Recovery Meetings and to provide fellow
 ship and support to the Residents. The Hubcap Café\, located inside Dallas
