DESCRIPTION:The Dallas Architecture Forum\, a non-profit organization dedic
 ated to providing public education about architecture\, design\, and the u
 rban environment\, continues its 2022-2023 Lecture Series on Wednesday\, F
 ebruary 15th at 7:00 pm. As The Forum celebrates its 25 th Anniversary\, t
 he non-profit is pleased to present architects Jing Liu and Florian Idenbu
 rg\, Principals of SO-IL Architecture . This Lecture will be held at the A
 ngelika Film Center\, Mockingbird Station. Forum members may attend for fr
 ee. Tickets for non-members will be available at the door - $5 for Student
 s (with student i.d.)\, $25 General Admission. Check-in and pre-Lecture Re
 ception will begin at 6:15 pm in the Lobby of the Angelika. \nSO–IL is an
  award winning\, internationally recognized architectural design firm that
  creates spaces for culture\, learning and innovation. Founded in 2008 by
  Jing Liu and Florian Idenburg\, the studio has a wide range of projects b
 oth in the US and abroad. Through building practice and interdisciplinary
  research projects\, Jing Liu has led SO–IL in engaging with the socio-pol
 itical issues of contemporary cities — in projects like the Artists Loft N
 orth Omaha and the Martin Luther King\, Jr. Library in Cleveland. Her proj
 ects range from artistic collaborations with contemporary choreographers a
 nd visual artists to master plan and major public realm design in cities l
 ike Melbourne and Indianapolis. \nFlorian Idenburg’s years of working in c
 ross-cultural settings make him a thoughtful and collaborative partner. He
  has a particularly strong background in institutional spaces\, leading th
 e office on projects as Kukje Gallery and the Manetti Shrem Museum of Art
  at UC Davis as well as Amant in Brooklyn. His strength lies in generating
  imaginative ideas and transforming those into real-world spaces and objec
 ts. SO-IL is locally rooted with a global reach. With its ambitious privat
 e and public clients\, they explore how the creation of environments and o
 bjects inspires lasting positive intellectual and societal engagement. \nS
