SUMMARY:Faiths In Conversation - Islam & Justice
DESCRIPTION:A great number of spiritual and religious faiths are practiced
in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex\, yet all too often\, we know little a
bout those outside our own. How can we escape our silos and find intersect
ions of the diversity of faiths with which Dallas is so rich? The Faiths i
n Conversation series aims at doing just that – designed to offer people o
f all cultures\, faiths\, and traditions opportunities to learn about the
religions of their neighbors. The monthly sessions will approach relevan
t topics of faith from academic – and accessible – perspectives\, with amp
le audience participation encouraged. Join the Interfaith Council of the T
hanks-Giving Foundation for the Faiths in Conversation – Islam & Justice p
rogram on Feb. 14. The discussion will feature Dr. Mohamed M. Keshavjee\,
  a South African born-lawyer and author\, and Zahra N. Jamal\, Associate D
irector at Rice University’s Boniuk Institute for Religious Tolerance and
  a Diversity\, Equity\, Inclusion consultant. \nLearn more at:  \n https:/
