DESCRIPTION:The Dallas Architecture Forum\, a non-profit organization dedic
 ated to providing public education about architecture\, design\, and the u
 rban environment\, continues its Spring 2024 Panel Discussion Series by pr
 esenting Design Inspirations on Tuesday\, April 16\, 2024. This Panel Disc
 ussion will be held at the Angelika Film Center at Mockingbird Station at
  6:30 pm . This event is FREE TO THE PUBLIC . A complimentary drinks recep
 tion will begin at 6:00 pm – The Panel will begin at 6:30 pm. \nJoin The D
 allas Architecture Forum for our Design Inspirations Panel which will give
  attendees the rare opportunity to learn about what inspires some of our a
 rea’s most talented design leaders in their creative process. The Panelist
 s will share with our audience what life experiences\, educational opportu
 nities\, and other creative disciplines inform their work. They will also
  share briefly about a couple of their projects. Moderated by Meg Fitzpatr
 ick \, our Panelists will be Chris Angelle of Chris Angelle Design\; Laure
 n Cantrell of Delineator Design landscape architects\; and Michael Malone
  of Malone\, Maxwell and Dennehy Architects. \n Meg Fitzpatrick \nMeg Fitz
 patrick\, President and Founder of MMF Strategies\, a boutique Dallas-base
 d firm known for advising CEOs\, business owners\, and senior leaders and
  collaborating with their teams about people development\, operational imp
 rovements\, and strategic issues. Meg served on the Dallas Architecture Fo
 rum’s Board for 10 years and facilitated the 2019 strategic planning proce
 ss with The Forum’s Board of Directors and staff. Meg has been a business
  management consultant for thirty years starting her career at McKinsey &
  Company after graduating from Columbia Graduate School of Business. She i
 s a DuPont Fellow holding a master’s degree from the Henry Francis DuPont
  program in museums and connoisseurship. \nMeg holds advanced certificatio
 ns in multiple behavioral sciences\, including Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
 \, and employee engagement surveys from her business partner\, TTI Success
  Insights®. Meg is an active member and contributor to the World Affairs C
 ouncil’s Global Forum\, Nasher Sculpture Center\, The Dallas Architecture
  Forum\, Greater Dallas Planning Council\, and Downtown Dallas\, Inc.  \n
  Chris ANGELLE \nChris Angelle\, Creative Director of Chris Angelle Design
 \, has a Bachelor of Design and a Masters in Architecture from the Univers
 ity of Louisiana. After graduate school\, he worked in the fields of art\,
  retail\, and fashion before pursuing a career in Interior Design. A succe
 ssful decade as Creative Director at Emily Summers Design Associates led t
 o the founding of Chris Angelle Design in 2022. Known for his wonderful co
 nnection with his clients\, Chris’ projects range from large-scale hospita
 lity projects\, curating artwork as well as entire interior residential sp
 aces for his clients. Since the firm’s founding two years ago\, they have
  been featured on the cover of Patron Magazine and have maintained a flour
 ishing relationship with Emily Summers\, collaborating on three contempora
 ry single-family homes. \n Lauren CANTRELL\, PLA\, ASLA \nLauren Cantrell\
 , PLA\, ASLA\, is Principal / Founder of DELINEATOR Design\, a landscape a
 rchitecture firm in Dallas\, Texas and Charlottesville\, Virginia. Her exp
 erience spans the globe on a broad range of award-winning urban and site-s
 cale projects that have focused on environmental sustainability and materi
 al craft. She credits the strength of her most successful work to her abil
 ity to curate strong collaborations with clients\, architects\, artists\,
  stakeholders\, engineers\, and consultants. Lauren focuses on strengtheni
 ng the connection between people and place to develop the groundwork for l
 ong-lasting\, exceptional spaces that express a harmony with nature. She a
 lso serves as State Secretary for Texas American Society of Landscape Arch
 itects and holds positions in other organizations that advocate for public
  space and urban design. \n Michael MALONE\, FAIA   \nMichael Malone\, FAI
 A is the Founding Principal of Malone Maxwell Dennehy Architects\, based i
 n Dallas\, Texas. Known for its award-winning and widely published project
 s\, the firm focuses its efforts in the areas of residential\, retail\, co
 rporate interiors and recreational design. The firm has been the recipient
  of both the AIA Dallas Firm Award in 2013 and the Firm Award of the Texas
  Society of Architects in 2023. Michael served as the 2015 President of th
 e Texas Society of Architects and continues to serve the Society in many c
 apacities. He is the author of The Architects Guide to Residential Design
  and is a contributing editor to Texas Architect Magazine where he has wri
 tten on a variety of topics. He is a current board member of AIA Dallas an
 d is active in the Community Honors and Home Tours committees.   \n Sponso
