  to the public on  April  23 \, 202 2\,  at  Samuel Lynne Galleries  at Th
 ompson Hotel Dallas at  The Na t ional  ( 205 N. Akard St .)  The  exhibit
 ion  will be  on view through  May 21 \, 202 2 . Th is presentation will f
 eature over  3 0  photographs  including the world premiere of multiple wo
 rks. Shields  has spent the last few decades making a name for himself and
  has become a creative tour de force in the photography & film industries.
   His  willingness to test boundaries has earned him praise fr om  critics
  around the world. Often collaborating with celebrities\, models\, comedia
 ns\, athletes\, and actors  for his provocative projects\, Shields’ photog
 raphs are iconic and are making their mark in prestigious  collections aro
 und the world.  With this colle ction\, Shields has once again secured rec
 ognition & attention as an artist who urges  audiences – when confronted w
 ith an unfamiliar style – to expand their appreciation for photography.  H
 e is introducing the viewer to the benefits of breaking the rules\, pu shi
 ng the limits and risking it all for the  perfect shot. Shields consistent
 ly maintains a visible effortlessness in his work\; emphasizing that  phot
 ography remains what it has always been – a tool for the creativity of the
  artist.  Shields is best known for his rebellious and provocative photogr
 aphy that closely represents themes of  consumerism\, eroticism\, fantasy\
 , decadence and violence. His photographs play with the concepts of  power
  structures\, hyperrealism and cinematography. Shi elds constantly challen
 ges the meaning of  modern portrait photography by shifting the landscape
  of identities and the mundane of our  contemporary world.  Recent years h
 ave proven to be some of the most impressive for Shields’ career . He  has

 ps\, & Sotheby’s  and   h is most recent achievement  includes being the f
