Santa Claus will fly into the Frontiers of Flight Museum, 6911 Lemmon Ave, on Sunday, Dec. 15 —just two days before the 110th anniversary of the Wright Brothers’ flights at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina! The fun begins at 2 p.m. and continues till 5 p.m. with cookies, treats, and activities including “Kitty Hawk” coloring pagers and building paper helicopters. Visit http://www.flightmuseum.com/.
The Lakewood Presbyterian Varsity Chorus will also perform at the Frontiers of Flight Museum and provide Victorian Christmas musical entertainment. It's sure to the one of the many highlights of these family-fun festivities on Sunday, Dec. 15.
Have your picture taken with Santa Claus for $5.00, and visit with “Orville Wright” as he explains how he and his brother Wilbur flew the first airplane on December 17, 1903.
The day also features a book signing by Museum Director Bruce Bleakley, whose latest book, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, chronicles how the airport has become a global aeronautical hub for international passenger and cargo traffic as well as an extraordinary economic engine for the Metroplex during its forty-year history.

The Frontiers of Flight Museum, a Smithsonian Institution Affiliate, is a gem in our North Texas community that attracts over 100,000 visitors annually including 30,000 students. The Museum is a learning laboratory using aviation and space flight to encourage and promote student excellence in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Educational classes for all ages are offered throughout the year, designed to excite the imagination in STEM through spacecraft design, aerodynamics, model-building, space science, and other disciplines.
