The Cedars West Arts Festival was launched in 2008 by a group of family-owned businesses in the southern Dallas neighborhood. Four years later, the festival is growing strong.

Head out to the Cedars District on June 9 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. to hear music from the King Bucks, see art from area craftspeople, and be amazed by a steel sculpting exhibition. There's plenty for kids to do, too, with a bounce house, petting zoo, kids art zone, a children's wood workshop, and the city's oldest fire truck. There will be plenty of food, beer, and live music.
The festival will be located on the historic Rock Island Street off of Riverfront Boulevard. For directions, a concert lineup, and more information, head to their website
