General admission to the Museum is free on the first Tuesday of every month. First Tuesday programming is specifically designed for children ages five and under, but all ages are welcome. Enjoy thematic art-making activities, story times, performances, and gallery activities.

shape escape family tour

The shapes have escaped and we must round them up! Search for circles, triangles, and squares hiding in the art in this interactive, family-friendly tour.
story time with the Dallas Public Library

Listen to enchanting stories told by our librarian friends and participate in an Every Child Ready to Read mini-workshop.
Float with Hip Hazel Hoops

Watch a hula hoop go round and round in this interactive performance by Jen Rose of Hip Hazel Hoops. Afterwards, show off your own hooping skills!
